BAI DINH PAGODA
Bai Dinh Pagoda is located in Gia Sinh commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province. The complex of Bai Dinh Pagoda now consists of an ancient pagoda and a complex of new pagoda built in 2010. Far about 5 km from Hoa Lu Ancient Capital to the northwest and leaned back on Bai Dinh Mountain overlooking the valley, Bai Dinh Pagoda owns an area of about 3 hectares. Architectural ensemble of new Bai Dinh Pagoda is situated on the campus of over 700 hectares with 20 items of work and many large architectural works hitting national records. The pagoda is under the construction project of Trang An cultural tourism center covering approximately 2,000 hectares and contributes to attract tourists to Ninh Binh travel.
TRANG AN
Trang An Eco-tourism Complex, UNESCO’s World Heritage Site since June 2014, is a must-visit destination in Ninh Binh.
Covering an area of 1,961 hectares, Trang An is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks and includes three main functional zones: Center area for welcoming visitors and hosting festivals; Grottoes area with 48 grottoes and caves, 31 large and small valleys; and Spiritual cultural area of Bai Dinh Pagoda. The whole complex is home to 47 historical relics and nearly 100 grottoes stretching around 20km from South to North.
07:40 – 08:30 : Get picked up by our tour guide and bus at your addresses around Hanoi Center then depart for Bai Dinh pagoda and Trang an eco-tourism attraction area (120kms south of Hanoi).
10:30 : Arrive in Buddha Sanctuary place of Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest one in Vietnam with 500 Arhan statues. You can see a biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. Tour guide also gives you an introduction of beliefs and religions in Vietnam.
12:30 : Have lunch in a local restaurant with some special dishes such as goat meat, pork storage vessel…
13:30 : Leave for Trang An eco-tourism attraction. You will be amazed by neglected area while having boat trip through cave chains: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Sinh Cave…experiencing mysterious views of the so-called “Ha Long Bay in land”
16:00 : Get back to the bus and then return to Hanoi.
18:30 : Back in Hanoi, you get dropped off at your address. Tour ends.
