TOUR PROGRAM

DAY 1: MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (L)

8:00 Pick up at your hotel in HCMC. Depart for My Tho .

Take a boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise island and have lunch among st the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. Enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks. After taking a delightful walking through the fruit plantation,village. Proceed to Can Tho. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Can Tho. (Family home stay can be arranged on request.)

Homestay ( D )
Transfer by motor boat to a small village in Cai Rang district. Check into your riverside cottage. In the afternoon, go cycling or trekking around the village to experience the rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta people. Join a family as they prepare dinner, then share the meal with them. Enjoy an evening of traditional folk music with your neighbors. Overnight in your riverside cottage

DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET (B)

7:00 AM After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is at its busiest at this time of day. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta.Break for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 3: CUCHI TUNNEL HALF DAY

08:00am or 1.00pm Depart for Cu Chi tunnels from Pioneer Travel Office
Around 9:30AM Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca root which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunitions at the nearby shooting range. Leaving Cu Chi tunnels at noon and returning back to HCM city for lunch at own expense.

DAY 4: MUI NE - SANDDUNES TOUR

DEPART: 4.30AM sunrise or 2.00PM sunset

4:30AM Departing to go to sand dune

5:15AM Visiting White sand dunes. At the top of the sand dune, catching the first sunrise of the day. Other activities can be taken: riding quad-bikes over sand dunes and ostriches riding (at own expense), sliding down sand dunes’ slopes with surfboards…

6:00AM Visiting Red sand dunes, slopes are less steep than the White sand dunes, great opportunity for taking photo as red colour of the sand is great contrast to background scenery

6:45AM Visiting the fishing village, observing the daily lives of fishermen, morning catch is hauled to shore and women are busy sorting out the catch and fishing boats are lining up and waiting to depart

7:15AM Visiting Suoi Tien (fairy stream) where the small stream running through the middle of the red sand dunes. It is like a mini version of Red Canyon

DAY 5: MUI NE - DA LAT

After breakfast at your hotel, we check out room. Bus will pick you up at your hotel at 7am. We arrive Da Lat at 12pm, check in hotel. Take rest or go arround Da Lat city.

DAY 6: DALAT - CITY TOUR

8.30: BAO DAI SUMMER PALACE: Our car and tour guide will take you go to Bao Dai King’s summer palace, where is the last Emperor in Viet Nam working and living. Built in 1933, the restored palace is still furnished with a lot of its original furniture and fittings and offers a rich insight into the life of the Royal resident.

09:30 CABLE CAR & ROBIN HILL: You can enjoy fesh airy space at Robin hill (1690m), Dalat cable car station to get the panorama view of Dalat and enjoy the marvelous of the pine forested valley strech down to the South and take the cable car down to Paradise lake.

10:00 TRUC LAM ZEN MEDITATION: is one of the biggest Zen Universiy in Viet Nam. Please dress decently, a very quite scenery beside it’s very beautiful flower garden, which is built on the top of the Pheonix hill and surrounding by Tuyen Lam lake (Paradise lake)

11.00 DATANLA WATERFALL: is one of the more easily accessed falls in the vicinity of Dalat. Those who are looking for thrills should try the (mini) roller coaster ride from the top of the falls or an easy 15 minute walk gets you to the bottom.

12:00 Have your luch at local restaurant on the way (tour guide he will recommend the prestigious restaurant if require)

13:00 SHOWROOM DRY FLOWER: The large place where you can see almost the dry flower of dalat such as: roses, lylys, sunflower, hydrangeas….even clay flower.

13:30 VALLEY OF LOVE: is the most romantic place foe lovers with rolling green hills, lakes and beautiful gardens and picnicking spaces. Youngsters like this place not only because of the small amusement park but for the western-like ‘cowboys’ with their fake guns, and wide hats.

14:00 VAN HANH PAGODA: A giant golden Sakyamuni Buhda statue with 24 high meter.

15.00 DOMAIN DE MARIE CHURCH: It was built from 1930 to 1943 following the 17th century French style.

DAY 7 : DALAT - COUNTRY SIDE TOUR

08:30 VAN THANH FLOWER VILLAGE The first destination was Van Thanh flower village which has been producing blooms since the late 1950s. Farmers first planted roses, gerberas, lylys…. on a trial basis and found the climate and soil conditions were in their favour.

09:30 COFFEE PLANTATION A visit to a plantation will give an experience of weasel coffee. Wild weasels run around the plantations, eat the best and ripest coffee beans and then leave their droppings around with the coffee beans relatively undigested and intact.

10:00 RICE WINE MAKING On other one-day tours, you will visit a rice liquor distillery to learn the process and try the finished product. Or they might take in a mushroom farm or even see wine made from ripe mulberry.

11:00 ELEPHANT WATERFALL You will enjoy the imposing wild scene of Elephant waterfall (35m high – 40m wide), the 2nd widest waterfall in Lam Dong province. Next to the waterfall is Wind Cave having narrow entrance between two cliffs, but inside the cave there are many wide spaces and full of wind too impressive ! Roaring like thunder !

13:00 SILK FACTORY It was fun to see how the workers make the scarves you see in stores and the way they process the silk.

14:00 LINH AN PAGODA You will see a solemn pagoda – Linh An pagoda with 2 august dragons flaking 2 side. A giant Happy Buhda statue with 20 high meter behind the main hall of pagoda and three huge statues Buhda inside symbol for past – present – future.

15:00 CRICKET FARM: You will approached a cricket farm in full chorus. After taking a look around to learn how crickets are raised, you settled down to a crunchy meal of fried cricket with lemongrass and chilli.

DAY 11: HOI AN

Check in hotel/resort, after that relax and enjoy An Bang beach. Bicycle around old town or go through local villages.
Just 3km north of Cua Dai, An Bang is one of Vietnam’s most happening and enjoyable beaches. At present there's a wonderful stretch of fine sand and an enormous horizon, with little sign of the serious erosion evident at Cua Dai, and with only the distant Cham Islands interrupting the seaside symmetry. Staying at the beach and visiting Hoi An on day trips is a good strategy for a relaxing visit to the area.
At the time of research, there was a growing band of vendors selling souvenirs on the beach, but the scene is still pretty laid-back and low-key.

DAY 12: MY SON TEMPLE

MY SON TOUR BY BUS AND BOAT

08:00 Picking up at hotel (located within Hoi An City center only) and departing for My Son Holy Land

10:00 Arriving at My Son and exploring the stunning ruins of the Champa Kingdom that were built around six centuries ago.

It comprises of many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. In 1999, the My Son temple complex was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, there are still many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area.

12:00 Returning back to the bus and traveling to a dock. Boarding a boat and leisurely cruising back to Hoi An on Thu Bon River while having a light lunch

14:30 Arriving at Nguyen Hoang pier (near Hoi An’s night market & located at the corner of Nguyen Hoang St. and An Hoi Bridge). Tour ends at the pier.

DAY 13 : HOI AN - HUE

Say goodbye to Hoi An beautiful town, we move to old capital of Viet Nam, that is Hue. You have to stay on bus 4 hours, and it will pick you up at 7:00 after you check out room and have breakfast at your hotel.

12:00 We arrive Hue, check in hotel. Take a rest.

DAY 14 : PHONG NHA CAVE

06:30AM Picking up at hotel (located within Hue City center only) and departing for Phong Nha cave.

Around 08:00AM, visiting La Vang Holy Land (Christians believe that Mary showed flexibility in this area in 1798 and a church was erected. It is an important place of pilgrimage for Catholics of Vietnam and La Vang Holy was recognized by the Vatican)
On the way, information about DMZ of Quang Tri is introduced as the bus passes by the 17th parallel line (a demilitarized zone established as a dividing line between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War)

11:30AM arriving at Phong Nha and having lunch (incl.). After lunch, 12:30PM cruising on Son River by boat and starting exploring Phong Nha cave (Cô Tiên fairy cave & Cung Đình palace cave). Back to the pier at 03:00PM and boarding the bus back to Hue

07:00PM Arriving in Hue and dropping off at hotel. Tour ends.

Considered charming colonial city, tourists would find Hanoi very typical feature of oriental city alive with its tree-lined boulevards and lakes and its blend of French, Chinese and Vietnamese architecture. Hanoi is the jewel of Asia. A cyclo trip will bring you to charming "36 streets and 36 wares" of the fascinating Old Quarter.

07:40 - 8:30 Meet your tour guide .

- Start the trip with Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.

- Visit Ho Chi Minh’s complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stil and One pillar pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi.

- Arrive Ethnology museum to learn about cultures of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.
Have a rest and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Afternoon Activities:

- Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

- Back to the APRICOT Cruise, We will take you to visit the Titop Island – swimming

- Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay in the Summer time.

- Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.

- After that, come back to the boat, enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck (free wine & fresh fruits).

Evening Relaxing:

Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around.

DAY 19 + 20 : SAPA

5.25 am arrive Lao Cai, then transfer to Sapa

7 am- 8 am: have breakfast, then visit Cat Cat Village, waterfall and the hydroectric power station build by French

11.30 am back to Sapa town. Check in homestay and have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, visit Sapa town, sapa market, rent a mortobike to discover Sapa by yourself or have herbal bath of Red Dzao people.

Free at night

 Sapa – Lao Cha i- Ta Van village- Lao Cai- Ha Noi.

Check out. Start trekking to Lao Chai and Ta Van village. Have lunch with a family of ethnic people.

4 pm back to Sapa town. Have dinner at restaurant near train station. Enjoy Sapa by night

9.10 pm take a train back to Ha Noi

DAY 3: CUCHI TUNNEL HALF DAY

08:00am or 1.00pm Depart for Cu Chi tunnels from Pioneer Travel Office
Around 9:30AM Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca root which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunitions at the nearby shooting range. Leaving Cu Chi tunnels at noon and returning back to HCM city for lunch at own expense.

09:30 CABLE CAR & ROBIN HILL: You can enjoy fesh airy space at Robin hill (1690m), Dalat cable car station to get the panorama view of Dalat and enjoy the marvelous of the pine forested valley strech down to the South and take the cable car down to Paradise lake.
10:00 TRUC LAM ZEN MEDITATION: is one of the biggest Zen Universiy in Viet Nam. Please dress decently, a very quite scenery beside it’s very beautiful flower garden, which is built on the top of the Pheonix hill and surrounding by Tuyen Lam lake (Paradise lake)
11.00 DATANLA WATERFALL: is one of the more easily accessed falls in the vicinity of Dalat. Those who are looking for thrills should try the (mini) roller coaster ride from the top of the falls or an easy 15 minute walk gets you to the bottom.

DAY 7 : DALAT - COUNTRY SIDE TOUR

08:30 VAN THANH FLOWER VILLAGE The first destination was Van Thanh flower village which has been producing blooms since the late 1950s. Farmers first planted roses, gerberas, lylys…. on a trial basis and found the climate and soil conditions were in their favour.
09:30 COFFEE PLANTATION A visit to a plantation will give an experience of weasel coffee. Wild weasels run around the plantations, eat the best and ripest coffee beans and then leave their droppings around with the coffee beans relatively undigested and intact.
10:00 RICE WINE MAKING On other one-day tours, you will visit a rice liquor distillery to learn the process and try the finished product. Or they might take in a mushroom farm or even see wine made from ripe mulberry.
11:00 ELEPHANT WATERFALL You will enjoy the imposing wild scene of Elephant waterfall (35m high – 40m wide), the 2nd widest waterfall in Lam Dong province. Next to the waterfall is Wind Cave having narrow entrance between two cliffs, but inside the cave there are many wide spaces and full of wind too impressive ! Roaring like thunder !

15:00 CRICKET FARM: You will approached a cricket farm in full chorus. After taking a look around to learn how crickets are raised, you settled down to a crunchy meal of fried cricket with lemongrass and chilli.

DAY 11: HOI AN

Check in hotel/resort, after that relax and enjoy An Bang beach. Bicycle around old town or go through local villages.
Just 3km north of Cua Dai, An Bang is one of Vietnam’s most happening and enjoyable beaches. At present there's a wonderful stretch of fine sand and an enormous horizon, with little sign of the serious erosion evident at Cua Dai, and with only the distant Cham Islands interrupting the seaside symmetry. Staying at the beach and visiting Hoi An on day trips is a good strategy for a relaxing visit to the area.
At the time of research, there was a growing band of vendors selling souvenirs on the beach, but the scene is still pretty laid-back and low-key.

DAY 12: MY SON TEMPLE

10:00 Arriving at My Son and exploring the stunning ruins of the Champa Kingdom that were built around six centuries ago.
It comprises of many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. In 1999, the My Son temple complex was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, there are still many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area.
12:00 Returning back to the bus and traveling to a dock. Boarding a boat and leisurely cruising back to Hoi An on Thu Bon River while having a light lunch
14:30 Arriving at Nguyen Hoang pier (near Hoi An’s night market & located at the corner of Nguyen Hoang St. and An Hoi Bridge). Tour ends at the pier.

DAY 14 : PHONG NHA CAVE

06:30AM Picking up at hotel (located within Hue City center only) and departing for Phong Nha cave.
Around 08:00AM, visiting La Vang Holy Land (Christians believe that Mary showed flexibility in this area in 1798 and a church was erected. It is an important place of pilgrimage for Catholics of Vietnam and La Vang Holy was recognized by the Vatican)
On the way, information about DMZ of Quang Tri is introduced as the bus passes by the 17th parallel line (a demilitarized zone established as a dividing line between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War)
11:30AM arriving at Phong Nha and having lunch (incl.). After lunch, 12:30PM cruising on Son River by boat and starting exploring Phong Nha cave (Cô Tiên fairy cave & Cung Đình palace cave). Back to the pier at 03:00PM and boarding the bus back to Hue
